Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Al Pescatore, I found a balance that many travel enthusiasts, like myself, appreciate. The location is superb, nestled right by the Swabian Fort and a mere stroll from the bustling city centre with its myriad alleyways and charming eateries. The modern room stood out for its clean lines and comfort, though it could benefit from the inclusion of a chair for lounging. The bathroom was particularly well-appointed. Daily breakfast offerings were fresh and satisfying; the quiches and pastries paired nicely with excellent coffee—definitely a highlight of my mornings. Martino, our host, impressed me with his attentiveness. He provided prompt answers to my questions about parking options and filled us in on local restaurant recommendations. Speaking of which, the hotel offers a small daily parking fee at a nearby garage, which, although a slight inconvenience, remains manageable. It straddles the line between luxury and practicality well, offering a contemporary space without feeling overindulgent. Guests considering their budget will find it a wise choice, making for a comfortable escape in a delightful locale. I would return without hesitation.
